Gt independent Study Topic

1 . The independent study topic that I chose is Ancient Egypt and Kush.
2.I chose this topic because it has many interesting cultures ,history and background.
3.The book that I chose is ''Mara,Daugther of the Nile''.
4.I chose this book,because it has a interesting fact and story background.

  1. What a great-sounding study! I love Egypt, too. Can you think of at least two reasons that Egypt is often called the "Cradle of Civilization," even though Mesopotamian culture predated them slightly?

  2. @jddavis: I just found out that Egypt is called the cradle of civilization because it is one of the places on earth that cities might have formed. I can also tell you it's a very historic place with all the pyramids, slaves, and much more.

  7. @Chelsie:Im not sure how old this book is,but I chose it because to me Egypt is an interesting topic and I love to learn about their history and how the people were treated as miserable slaves.

  9. @ Dave : Kush is no longer located in the map of egypt,because it's so old.I agree kush is very fascinating tough no longer found in Egypt only in it's history.
